Tighnari main role is as a dendro enabler for his team. His play style is similar to most quick swap rotation in which you wanna swap onto him, use his skills and then swap onto someone else. This is further reinforce with his low base multipliers and dendro reaction being an enabler-focused reaction particularly for electro.
Optimal combo for Tighnari
Based on early leaks and theorycrafting on his kit, he is more suitable for a quick swap style where he uses 3 charged attack on field following his E then swaps to a team mate.
Elemental Skill (E) -> Charged Attack -> Burst (Q) -> 2 x Charged Attack -> Swap
Currently this is Tighnari’s best combo

Deepwood Memories (4): Not recommended to give Tighnari even though it is higher for DPS by 12%. The set is better suited for low damage utility characters such as Zhongli, Kuki, Dendro MC, etc. The only 2 situation where Tighnari would hold this set is if there are no other person in the team to hold it or if you’re going with a Spread build Tighnari. Otherwise, go with Wanderer’s Troupe or Gilded Dreams.
