Quick recap of Genshin 2.5 patch

Genshin version 2.5 update will drop on February 16th and features Yae Miko as the new 5 star character as well as new story quests for Raiden and Miko. After Yae Miko’s banner, Raiden and Kokomi will have their banner rerun happening simultaneously. Genshin version 2.5 will also give 2 new catalyst being Kagura’s Verity and Oathsworn Eye. Finally, we’ll have a new weekly Raiden weekly boss that will only be unlocked once we have completed Raiden’s new story quest in version 2.5.

New Story Quests

Genshin 2.5 will feature Raiden's Act 2 and Yae Miko's Act 1 story quest

Version 2.5 will be bringing us the continuation of Raiden Shogun’s Story Quest: Imperatrix Umbrosa Chapter Act II and a brand new story quest for Yae Miko Divina Vulpes Chapter Act I. Both of these quests will be connected to the history of Inazuma.

Raiden Shogun’s quest will be linked closely to the Inazuma Archon Quest and give a lot of details on the history as well as the Raiden’s decision on the future of Inazuma. The Raiden’s upcoming 2.5 story quest will hopefully be taking players further into their understanding of Inazuma’s mysterious past and current situation.

Yae Miko’s story quest will only be unlocked after completing Raiden’s Act II new story quest. The Traveler and Miko will cross paths as an unusual urban legend circulate throughout Inazuma. Both of these quest will be available after version 2.5 update on February 16th.

New Weekly Boss: Raiden

Travelers will need to complete the new Raiden Act II story quest on version 2.5 to unlock and unravel the identity of this new boss. She looks similar to Raiden Shogun but has large floating arms and a giant katana, could this be Raiden’s clone betraying her? We’ll have to find out in the new Raiden’s story quest.
