Lynette’s Role and Skills

Lynette is an Anemo off-field DPS character that primarily deals damage through her Burst (Q). Her Elemental Skill (E) is near identical to Yelan’s E. Pressing would cause her to dash onto a nearby enemy dealing Anemo DMG. Holding puts her in a shadow state where she’ll move quickly before doing an attack at the end. The only difference with Yelan is that she can only mark one enemy in her Hold E state.

Lynette’s Burst (Q) is pretty simple where she releases a “Bogglecat Box” on the field that does periodical Anemo DMG and taunts enemies. It is pretty much a Sayu’s Q but with taunt.

Artifact set

Viridescent Venerer FlowerViridescent Venerer (4)

By far Lynette’s best artifact set, Marechaussee Hunter provides 36% CRIT Rate at full stacks along with a 15% Charge Attack DMG Bonus.

Gladiator's Finale FlowerViridescent Venerer FlowerVermillion Hereafter Flower
Mixed Set (2+2)

Any combination of: 2pc +15% Anemo DMG and 2pc +18% ATK sets.

Usable alternative if you have a VV holder on your team already or you are running her Mono Anemo. it gives her something around 1% extra damage over 4pc VV in such situations.

Emblem of Severed Fate FlowerEmblem of Severed Fate (4)

Lynette’s best alternative to 4pc VV in a team that does not care for the extra VV holder or does not benefit from VV Shred at all. Also helps her meet her ER requirements a bit more easily.

Golden Troupe (4)

Only competitive if you can fit two Skills per rotation and you have another person holding 4pc VV.

Marechausse Hunter (4)

For her C6 Main DPS Builds, this set synergies well with her Skill’s HP restore and drain and is maintained throughout her NA Anemo Infusion.

Weapon

Favonious Sword (4✩)

The ER and energy it provides the rest of your team is quite valuable. If you need the energy. This is a highly recommended option.

Finale of the Deep (4✩)

The passive is a near perfect fit for Lynette’s kit and it offers A LOT of attack that she can reliably proc and maintain. On 4pc VV, at R5 this weapon is close in output to 5 star alternatives such as Mistsplitter even at C6.

If you have the billets and don’t need the ER of other weapons, This is highly recommended.

Sacrificial Sword (4✩)

Another strong ER weapon, if you are willing to use the skill twice and potentially increase your rotation timings this is also a very strong option. In Mono Anemo this is recommended over Favonious if you need the ER.

Fleuve Cendre Ferryman (4✩)

A free permanently available alternative to Favonious if you don’t have one. Gives her a smidge more personal damage than Favonious however it deprives the rest of your team of the valuable clear particles. Good if you are ok with fishing for it.

Primordial Jade Cutter (5✩)
Mistsplitter Reforged (5✩)

At C6 these 2 would be your go-to choice for Lynette. PJC edges out a bit better on Lynette than Mistsplitter as she can reliably make use of the bonus attack and crit rate even at C6 making it typically her best in slot for raw damage

Talent

C0-C5

Burst (Q) ≥ Skill (E) > Normal Attack (NA)

C6

Normal Attack (NA) ≥ Burst (Q) > Skill (E)

If you can fit 2 skills (C4 or Sacrificial Sword) per rotation then you can consider leveling her Skill and Burst equally but generally it is recommended to prioritize her Burst before Skill. At C6 her NA pulls ahead as you’ll wanna use her as an on-field DPS.

Main stat & substat

Sand: ATK%
Goblet: Anemo DMG%
Circlet: Crit Rate / DMG

  1. Energy Recharge
  2. Crit Rate / DMG
  3. ATK%

Unlike most Anemo characters, Lynettte doesn’t care much for EM due to her low swirl count. As such she is best played using the usual DPS build. At C6 you can consider using an EM build just because she does more swirls with her NA but the difference is negligible.

If Lynette is the only Anemo character in the team it is generally recommended to run ~240ER so that her Q is comfortably ready every rotation. If she has double Es, multiple Anemo in the team or at C6 the requirement hovers around ~160ER depending on your setup.
