Kuki Hyperbloom |
Kuki’s Role and Skills
Kuki Shinobu is a HP-scaling Electro healer that also provides Electro AOE application following the on-field character. Her Skill (E) creates an Electro ring around her that provides healing and damage enemies. Its the most important part of her kit as it provides Electro auro in an AOE with an 80% uptime at C0 and 100% uptime at C2 (extends E by 3 seconds). This makes her one of the best candidate for Hyperbloom team besides Raiden.
Her Burst (Q) creates an AOE dealing continuous Electro damage for a brief second. Similar to her E, its damages scales based on her HP but because its values are too low, its best to use it more for it Electro application than actual DPS.
Artifact set
Flower of Paradise Lost (4)
Kuki’s BiS
Paradise Lost is easily Kuki’s Best-in-Slot (BiS) for a Hyperbloom team as its designed specifically to buff Bloom related reactions.
The set gives a 40% increase DMG for Bloom related reaction and an additional 25% bonus to the effect when the equipping character triggers it. This 25% can stack up 4 times meaning that at max stacks Kuki’s Hyperbloom is dealing up to +80% DMG! The set is a ~10% increase compared to GD which is quite substantial.
Gilded Dreams (4)
Gilded Dreams (GD) is a great set made for anyone relying mostly on elemental reactions. It isn’t made specifically for Hyperbloom hence falls slightly behind Paradise Lost but makes up for being universally good for any reaction.
For Kuki’s Hyperbloom team, the set would give her 230EM as she would optimally be the only Electro in the team.
80 EM set (2)
80 EM set (2)
A decent 2pc combo if you don’t have any other options. It provides a total of 160EM and also the benefit having no prerequisite to gain the buffs like the other sets.
Thundering Fury (4)
TF technically is a viable set for Kuki since it does increase DMG caused by Hyperbloom by 40%. However since the other buffs (CD reduction & +15% Electro DMG Bonus) is not utilized by her, its not recommended to farm for this set.
Weapon
Freedom-Sworn (5✩)
Kuki’s best weapon as it has the highest EM stat on a Sword with a passive that benefits her team with its ATK% buff, making it the best weapon for Hyperbloom Kuki.
Xiphos’ Moonlight (4✩)
Best 4-star option for Kuki since it comes with a high EM and also a passive that buffs the ER of her entire team. The ER buff for her team is what makes it better than the Iron Sting.
Iron Sting (4✩)
Key of Khaj-Nisut (5✩)
Iron String is Kuki’s best ‘F2P’ weapon due to it being craftable for everyone and comes with EM stat. Refinements aren’t necessary as Kuki doesn’t need DMG% for Hyperbloom.
Key of Khaj-Nisut becomes a better choice than Iron Sting at C4 when you can gain the 3rd passive stack without needing to extend your rotation time.
It can also net more EM than Freedom-Sworn at 3 stacks, assuming you have actually built some HP% substats on your Sands/Goblet/Circlet, but this is usually not enough to out-perform the overall gains from Xiphos’ Moonlight/Freedom-Sworn’s respective passives.
Toukabou Shigure
Performs very similarly to Iron Sting since its passive does not effect Hyperbloom damage but it comes with a high EM stat. Unfortunately the weapon can only be obtain from the Akitsu Kimodameshi event that has ended.
Talent
C0-C6
Level 90 Kuki > Skill (E) > Burst (Q)
Transformative reactions which includes Hyperbloom are based on the EM and Level of the character who triggers the reaction. Hence, you’ll wanna increase Kuki to the max Lvl 90 to boost her Hyperbloom DMG.
Main stat and substat
Sand: Elemental Mastery
Goblet: Elemental Mastery
Circlet: Elemental Mastery
- Elemental Mastery
- HP%
- Flat HP
Crit or ATK does not affect the damage of Hyperbloom since it a Transformative reaction. Essentially, you’ll only want to focuc on EM although she can technically still benefit from HP since it affects her healing.
Energy Recharge Requirements
- Hyperbloom Kuki: 100%
- Electro-Charged Kuki: 100%
- Aggravate Kuki w/ Fischl: ~140%
- Aggravate Kuki w/ Raiden: 100%
Unless you’re running Kuki for Aggravate team, its not necessary to build her ER as her Electro triggers are mainly from her E. In fact, using her Q in certain scenarios may extend her rotation leading to DPS loss.
