Faruzan’s Role and Skills
Faruzan is an upcoming Anemo character slatted to be released in patch 3.3 with Wanderer. Based on her gameplay and talent description, she is a support character designed specifically for Anemo DPS. Her Burst (Q) deploys a gadget that fly’s around the battlefield shredding the Anemo resistance of enemies while buffing the Anemo damage of on field character. This is her most important kit as she is the only character that can shred Anemo RES and buff Anemo DMG. Her Elemental Skill (E) gives a buff towards her Charged Attacks and slightly pulls enemies towards its AOE. With a 6s cooldown, its primarily acts as a battery for her Burst (Q) and her team. More than likely you’ll wanna run Faruzan with Xiao or Wanderer as her buffs are a huge benefit towards their Anemo DMG.
How To Build Faruzan
Faruzan Best in Slot (BiS) is a 4 piece Noblesse Oblige to further provide an ATK buff towards her team. If you have her at C6 then you can run her with the Tenacity of Millelity as she can maintain a healthy uptime on the 4 piece set buff. If you’re running her with off-field DPS then the Viridescent Venerer will take priority as the RES shred helps boost the team DPS. Other options are to run her with any set that helps in her energy issue so Emblem and Exile could be a decent candidate.
For Faruzan’s weapon, her best options are the ones that can contribute to her energy recharge requirement and also provide a high base attack. Use these as a guidelines when choosing her weapon.
- Faruzan has an 80 Burst energy cost
- Faruzan’s Burst buff scales base on her attack
- She does respectable damage from her Elemental Skill
- Her Elemental Skill has a cooldown of only 6s
- Faruzan has a very low base attack
- She does not utilize Elemental Mastery
Artifact set
Viridescent Venerer (4)
Best generalist set for Faruzan if you’re running her for with other elemental type as it provides elemental resistance shred. REMEMBER that if your team is running an Anemo DPS (Wanderer Hypercarry) this set provides no benefit.
Noblesse Oblige (4)
Best set by far if Faruzan is running with an Anemo DPS as the set provides ATK buff after shes uses her Burst. This is your go to set if you have C6 Faruzan supporting a Hypercarry Wanderer.
Tenacity of the Millelith (4)
Only consider using this set if you have Faruzan at C6 as it provides improve uptime on the artifact ATK buff through her Pressurized Collapses (E).
Emblem of Severed Fate (4)
An okay-ish set if you don’t have any other options. The 2 piece helps a bit for her ER requirements while the 4 piece increases her Burst damage.

If you don’t have any other option, this set serves as a decent budget piece as it provides Faruzan with 40% ER.
Weapon
Favonius Warbow (4✩)
Faruzan’s best weapon as the high ER and particle generation helps heavily in her high Burst requirement. You won’t be using anything else in most situation.
Elegy for the End (5✩)
Usually only a better option at higher constellation levels such as C6 where her energy needs can be met without Favonius passive particles.
End of the Line (4✩)
Fading Twilight (4✩)
Both are decent option as it provides her with more DMG while also helping her ER requirements.
Sacrificial Bow (4✩)
REMEMBER that the extra Pressurized Collapse from a second E wont give you any extra particles if it’s within her 5.5 second particle generation cooldown. Otherwise its still an okay option since it provides a bit ER and extra DMG from her E.
Talent
C0-C6
Burst (Q) > Skill (E) > Normal Attack (NA)
Just like any support character, Faruzan’s utility comes primarily from her Q so it will take priority over anything else. Reaching Ascension 6 is recommended as Faruzan’s Anemo DMG% buff scales directly with her Burst’s level.
At C6 bear in mind the Charged shot portion of the rotation no longer becomes necessary since your burst will start activating the Pressurized Collapses instead.

Due to Faruzan’s massive ER requirement and particle generation issue, it is recommended to focus on ER above anything else. Her ER should be ~250% ER depending on how many Anemo characters are in your team. Keep in mind that even at C6 Faruzan ER requirement is still high!
Constellation
C6 > C4 > C2
Too put it simply, C6 Faruzan is too broken, it’s not just extra damage, it’s everything in one constellation, even new artifact option.
- Extra 40% crit damage for Anemo characters
- C6 pressurized collapse every 3 sec allow Faruzan to completely ignore the burst AoE due to her A1 passive.
- C6 allows Faruzan to run Tenacity of Millelith (4), as it counts as Elemental Skill.
- C6 Pressurized Collapse trigger her C4, allowing her to require less ER which means…
- Faruzan can run Elegy for the End (5✩) as her ER problems are fixed.
- Allows Faruzan to have consistent Crowd Control (CC).
- C6 Pressurized Collapse generate particles to the onfield carrier.
At C2 it gives a 6s increase in her Burst duration making it go from 12s to 18s. This is good considering that her cooldown is 20s. It pretty much gives her a near 100% Burst uptime. Faruzan’s C4 helps her energy problem as she can generate an additional 4 energy on top of her base Anemo particles every time she uses her Elemental Skill.
