Chevreuse Build Guide (Patch 4.3)

Chevreuse

Chevreuse’s Role and Skills

Chevreuse is a HP-scaling healer whose kit revolves around healing and buffing the damage of an Overload party. An Overload party consists of ONLY Pyro and Electro characters. This means that Chevreuse buffs from her Ascension ( 1 & 4 ) will not proc if you have any other element in your party!

Her A1 is arguably the most important part of her kit will specifically need an Overload reaction to trigger the Pyro and Electro RES shred. Think of it like a VV user doing Swirls to RES shred the enemies but in Chevreuse case her A1 works while she’s off-field with the trigger for the RES shred being Overload instead of Swirls. Her A4 on the other hand is pretty straightforward, as long as she has an Overcharged Ball ( gained by triggering Overload) and use her E, she gives an ATK% buff towards her team based on her HP.

As a healer and damage buffer for an Overload party, it is best to run Chevreuse in a team that consists of only Pyro and Electro composition. In this role, her build should focus on increasing her own HP for better healing while the team benefits from the RES shred and damage buff provided by her Ascension Passives.

It is not recommended to build Chevreuse for DPS until you’ve hit C4 as her healing is more useful and her damage multipliers are low.

Artifact set

Noblesse Oblige FlowerNoblesse Oblige (4)

Noblesse would be Chevreuse best set simply because it provides an ATK buff to the entire team. This gives her more utility on top of her personal kit.

Song of Days Past (4)

The new healing set in patch 4.3 should theoretically be her 2nd best option as it gives the team a damage buff based on the amount of healing. Again, this provides Chevreuse with more utility towards her team.

Exile (4)

The Exile set is a viable option for Chevreuse as it will help regenerate energy for her teammates every time she uses her Burst (Q).

Weapon

Favonius Lance (4✩)

Favonius is Chevreuse best ‘F2P’ weapon as it provides her with a huge ER boost and energy particles. This allows her to Burst more often to proc the Noblesse buff while also acts as a battery for her team.

Rightful Reward (4✩)

A decent option for Chevreuse as it helps her gain energy every time she heals and is one of the only 4-star weapon that comes with a HP secondary stat.

Black Tassel (3✩)

A very cheap and viable weapon as it has the highest HP stat on a polearm. The only caveat is that it doesn’t comes with any ER so you’ll have to find that in her artifacts.

Talent

C0-C3

Ascension 1 > Ascension 4 > Skill (E) > Burst (Q)

Focus on ascending Chevreuse to A4 first as all her buffs come from her Ascension Passives. Then upgrade her E for better healing. Unless you’re building her specifically for damage, her Q wouldn’t be a priority because its damage isn’t really substantial.

Main stat and substat

Sand: HP%
Goblet: HP%
Circlet: Healing Bonus / HP%

  1. Energy Recharge
  2. HP%
  3. Flat HP

Prioritize HP on her artifact for better healing to her team and also Energy Recharge so that she can Burst (Q) every rotation to proc Noblesse buff. Chevreuse A4 attack buff that is dependent on her HP caps at 40,000 health but additional HP will still improve her healing.

Energy Recharge Requirements

Chevreuse will have an ER of around ~160ER due to her low particle generation from her E. It is highly recommended to run her with Favonius Lance (4✩) and another Pyro character in the team.
