Heizou character card

Shikanoin Heizou functions as a main DPS Anemo character that specializes in melee combat but ironically uses catalyst as a weapon. His play style lean more towards an on-field DPS that helps provide EM boosts for his off-field allies when he triggers Swirl while also dealing decent Anemo DMG himself.

Heizou’s Skills and Talents

His Elemental Skill (E) on tap punches forward while on hold charges up for a stronger blow and gain 1 stack of Declension every 0.75s to a max of 4 stacks. Declension will increase the power of his skill based on the number of stacks and at max stacks he will gain Conviction which makes the strike stronger and larger AOE. Heizou’s Elemental Burst (Q) sends out a flying kick that deals AOE damage and also pulls in nearby enemies. When his Q interacts with Hydro/Pyro/Electro/Pyro the opponent will be afflicted with Windmuster Iris. The Iris explodes after a moment dealing AOE DMG of the element absorbed.

On Ascension 1 “Paradoxical Practice”, Heizou gains 1 Declension stack when triggering a Swirl reaction while on field. On Ascension 2 “Penetrative Reasoning” when his skills hit an opponent, all allies (besides Heizou) gain 80EM for 10s.

Shikanoin Heizou does not get the same benefits from an EM build as other anemo users do. He still has to level his talents, and allocate substats into offensive substats such as attack and crit to equal Anemo DPS. However it is notiably better than Anemo DPS build if used in Electro-Charged teams.

Noblesse Oblige: Only use this set if you already have a Viridescent Venerer user on your team

Shikanoin Heizou’s Anemo DPS build is roughly equal to his EM build assuming he isn’t being used in an electro-charged team, He has very low energy recharge needs, ranging from 110% to 130%. At constellation four he can run 100% energy recharge.

Regarding Weapon Choices:
Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds: In teams where Shikanoin Heizou and Bennett are used in the same team, this weapon is equal to Skyward Atlas.

Regarding Artifact Sets:
Viridescent Venerer: Viridescent is both Shikanoin Heizou’s best personal damage set, but also his best set for supporting the team.
